TULARE — November 2, 2026. Tulare provides water, wastewater and solid-waste service on a monthly utility-billing cycle with bills mailed on the first of each month and due on the twentieth.
The due-date exception
The city states that if the twentieth falls on a weekend or city-observed holiday, payment is due on the next business day. Customers should use the official billing office or portal to verify account-specific penalties or payment plans.
Office and telephone hours differ
Tulare’s Utility Billing team provides telephone assistance weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., while its walk-in payment window closes at 4 p.m. The main billing phone is 559-684-4260.
Watch for account-specific charges
The monthly invoice may include separate water, sewer and garbage charges based on customer class and usage. A published base rate is not necessarily the full amount due for a particular household.
